FITNS 324    Mat Pilates    1 Unit

Prerequisite: None.

Description: This beginning course covers a method of body conditioning that includes a unique system of stretch and strength exercises. Mat Pilates is designed to work with the deepest muscles in the body while creating core strength without pain. The sequence of matwork exercises will strengthen and tone muscles, improve body posture, and increase flexibility and balance while uniting body and mind. This course may be taken four times for credit.

Description: Trim and Tone Conditioning is designed to improve an individual's level of fitness, general appearance, and well-being. This course will concentrate on muscle toning and strength development through various activities, for example, exercises for abdominal and core, exercises for hamstrings and quadriceps, exercises for buttocks and exercises for the upper body. This course may be taken four times.

Description: This course is designed to enhance fitness levels in everyone.
