SPORT 90 Academic Study Skills for Student Athletes .5-3 Units
Prerequisite: None.
Enrollment Limitation: Must be a student-athlete registered in an intercollegiate sport at Sacramento City College.
Hours: 9 hours LEC ; 162 hours LAB
Description: This lecture/lab course is designed to assist the at-risk student athlete in acquiring basic study skills and work habits to gain success in the classroom. In addition, the student-athlete will learn and apply motivational and time/stress management techniques. Grades are Pass/No Pass. This is an open entry, open exit course. A student may register for the course up to the eighth (8) week of the semester. A student may take the course up to four times for a maximum of three (3) units.
