Supplier Management

Welcome! Thank you for your interest in partnering with Los Rios Community College. Below you will find information on purchasing thresholds and our code of ethics. Under the Purchasing Links other useful resources such as the vendor packet, insurance requirements and how to do business with the District are available.

As a public agency, Los Rios CCD requires an authorized purchase order for all transactions from District General Services endorsed by an authorized agent demonstrating the funds for the order are available and committed. Check out the information below for examples of supplies and services purchased by the District.

For public projects (maintenance & construction), effective July 1, 2014, all contractors and subcontractors who intend to bid on or perform work on public works projects must register and pay a fee to the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 and provide evidence of registration for contract award. As of March 1, 2015 only registered contractors and subcontractors will be eligible to bid on public projects. A valid DIR registration ID will be required prior to the award of any contract dated April 1, 2015 or later. Visit the website by clicking here for additional information.

If you have additional questions you may contact Purchasing via phone (916) 568-3071, fax (916) 568-3145 or email to schedule an appointment.
