1.0 Correspondence Course Credit

1.1 Credit shall be granted for courses taken by correspondence supplied by the University of California, or any other university or college fully accredited provided the course or courses are included in the subject offerings in the local district community college, in full keeping with regular procedures of granting credit by California Community Colleges, and given full credit in the parent institution.

1.2 Credit shall be granted for courses taken by correspondence through the Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support (DANTES) in keeping with the recommendations of the American Council on Education.

1.3 Not more than twenty (20) credit hours shall be granted for courses taken by correspondence.
