1.0 Committees of the Board of Trustees

1.1 It shall be the policy of the Board not to operate by subcommittees, but where necessary and when authorized by Board action, the President may appoint subcommittees and the chairperson thereof.

1.2 The Chancellor shall be notified of the time and place of all committee meetings and shall be eligible to attend all such meetings, except when the Chancellor's employment status, evaluation or salary is under consideration.

1.3 A Board of Trustees' committee shall meet at the call of the chairperson of the committee.

1.4 The Secretary to the Board or the chairperson of the committee shall give advance notice to all committee members and other eligible attendees of the time and place of meetings.

2.0 Trustees Representatives

2.1 The Board shall appoint the Trustee representatives to organizations in which the District has membership.

3.0 Institutional Membership

3.1 A list of all organizations for which the Los Rios Community College District has institutional memberships shall be maintained.
