1.0 Trustee Areas
1.1 The Board of Trustees consists of seven (7) members elected from trustee areas by electors living in trustee area boundaries. Elections are held in accordance with the provisions of the California Education and Elections codes in November of even numbered years. (Education Code § 5010.7 and Election Code § 2500)
1.2 Following each decennial federal census, the Board of Trustees shall adjust the boundaries of any or all of the trustee areas of the District in accordance with the requirements of Education Code § 5019.5.
2.0 Terms of Office
2.1 Terms of office are four (4) years on a staggered basis. (Education Code § 5017)
2.2 Trustees for areas one, two and six are elected in 1990 and every four (4) years thereafter. Trustees for areas three, four, five and seven are elected in 1992 and every four years thereafter.
