1.0 Resident Student Defined

1.1 A resident for community college admissions is a student who had legal residence in California for more than one (1) year immediately preceding the residence determination date pursuant to the Education Code and Title 5 Regulations. (Education Code §§ 68060-68082)

1.2 The Chancellor is authorized to evaluate information presented by an applicant for admission and to make determination of residence. (Title 5, §§ 54000 - 54072)
