1.0 Eligibility for Good Standing

1.1 For purposes of determining a student's eligibility to remain in good standing and in attendance at one of the colleges of the Los Rios District, both quality of performance and progress toward completion of objectives shall be considered.

2.0 Probation

2.1 Each college within the Los Rios Community College District shall implement the probation policy consistent with Title 5 section 55031.

2.2 Academic probation shall be based on grade point average.

2.3 Progress probation shall be based on percentage of earned non-evaluative symbols.

2.4 Academic records accrued during summer and/or intersessions shall count toward earning probation, removal from probation, or possible dismissal.

3.0 Dismissal

3.1 A student shall be subject to dismissal from college under certain circumstances related to continuing probation as stipulated in Title 5 section 55756.

3.2 A student may petition for re-admission following dismissal.
