1.0 Authorization

1.1 The Chancellor is authorized to establish a fee schedule for the Non-District facility use.

1.2 The fee schedule will include applicable fees, if any, for the following use categories as defined in administrative regulation pursuant to the provisions of the Civic Center Act. (Education Code §§82530 et seq.)

1.2.1  Class I - Free Use (Basic Costs)

1.2.2  Class II - Semi-Commercial Use (Full Cost Recovery)

1.2.3  Class III - Commercial Use

1.3  The District shall not charge a fee, other than basic costs, to any non-profit organization, club or association organized for general character-building or welfare purposes, provided an alternative location is unavailable.  The Chancellor shall establish regulations to provide for basic cost recovery.

1.4  For other uses, the chancellor shall establish a fee schedule.
