Adjunct Faculty Positions
With an Immediate Need to Hire
The Los Rios Community College District maintains adjunct faculty (part-time, temporary) hiring pools for all disciplines taught at our colleges. These pools are used by all of our campuses and outreach centers. As staffing needs arise at our campuses, our deans will review the pools and contact those applicants they are interested in interviewing.
Important Notes Regarding Adjunct Pools:
You need to apply to an online adjunct posting. The positions listed below are adjunct faculty positions for disciplines in which the campuses have immediate hiring needs. Some of the departments have requested that we also post the contact information so that you can address your questions and/or concerns directly to the department or person(s) seeking qualified candidates. Even though a name or department may be listed for the discipline that you would like to apply, you MUST still complete your application on-line and submit it to the appropriate discipline(s) through the District Office Human Resources Department. Please go back to jobs.losrios.edu, click on "search postings", change the position type to "adjunct faculty" and click "search". After you have found the discipline in which you are interested, click "view" for additional information about the position and then click on "apply for this posting" to obtain and complete the on-line faculty application.
Location you are interested in teaching at: The application that you submit will be available for all of four of our campuses to review - please indicate on the application which campuses you are interested in working at.
Keep your application up-to-date. We ask that you keep your information up-to-date, especially your phone numbers as the hiring deans will usually attempt to contact you by phone. Please withdraw your application from the pool if you are no longer interested. We will email all adjunct pool applicants once a year to remind you of these items, and also provide you instructions to do so.
