The Los Rios Community College District maintains adjunct hiring pools for all disciplines taught at our colleges.   These pools are used by all of our campuses and outreach centers.  As staffing needs arise at our campuses, our deans will review the pools and contact those applicants they are interested in interviewing.  Our colleges include:  American River College, Cosumnes River College, Folsom Lake College and Sacramento City College.

Applying to an Adjunct Pool
All interested individuals can apply using our automated application system at jobs.losrios.edu (no “www” in front), where a list of all adjunct pool instructional areas can be found. All applications in the adjunct pool remain active for one year (from July 1 to June 30).  At the end of the year, all applicants in the pools will receive an email invitation to reapply to the pool if they are interested in being considered for future adjunct faculty positions.  (Reapplying does not require completion of another application, but is a simple process of moving the application to the posting for the next year.)   If at any time your personal contact information changes, please email your new information to Human Resources at hr@losrios.edu.  

Applicants are encouraged to keep their contact information up to date, so that our deans can readily contact them.   If there is a change in contact information, applicants are requested to email the change to the Los Rios HR office (hr@losrios.edu) using the same email account as the one on their application, and include their username for our verification. 

Applicants may also contact our deans directly with any questions regarding a specific instructional area.  Should an applicant be hired as an adjunct professor, please see instructions on the adjunct employment process at Los Rios Adjunct Hiring Process (This page is still under construction).

Individuals hired by a dean without applying to an adjunct pool may be losing an opportunity for other adjunct positions.  Please be sure to apply to the adjunct pool at jobs.losrios.edu if you are interested in being considered for future adjunct opportunities in our district.
