Description: This course introduces students to the characteristics of the criminal justice system in the United States. Focus is placed on examining crime measurement, theoretical explanations of crime, response to crime, components of the system, and current challenges to the system.

Description: This course will study the justice system. Topics will include bail extradition and rendition; order of trial, motions, writs and appeals; limitations of prosecuting; rights of defendant; judgment and sentence.
