Description: This is an integrated, interdisciplinary course which introduces the non-science major student to the physical sciences. Areas covered will include astronomy, physics, chemistry and geology. The purpose of the course is to trace the development of modern scientific concepts, to analyze a number of natural phenomena, and to explore the significance of science.
