Description: The course will focus on the development of all language skills (listening, reading, speaking and writing) in a cultural context. Students will learn basic communications skills in the language as well as gain a deeper understanding of the peoples and culture of France and the Francophone world.

Description: The course will continue to focus on the development of all language skills (listening, reading, speaking and writing) in a cultural context. Students will continue to learn and build basic communications skills in the language as well as gain a deeper understanding of the peoples and culture of France and the Francophone world. Students are expected to be able to read French texts of increasing difficulty and express themselves orally and in writing at the intermediate level.
