Description: Golf I covers the basic skills and knowledge necessary to play the game of golf. Instruction for this course is provided at an off-campus location. The student will need transportation to the facility. This course focuses on the fundamental skills necessary to strike and putt the ball to play the game and on course management strategies in order to negotiate a golf course. Some sections of this course are held on area regulation golf courses. Students must have their own sets of golf clubs and equipment.
