Description: History of the United States (to 1865) portrays the growth of America, its institutions and ideals, from their beginning through the Civil War period, examining the decisions and developments that shaped our national heritage. The U.S. Constitution and the establishment of American government institutions are also covered. (C-ID HIST 130)
