Description: This course will provide an overview of the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development from conception through the life span. The emphasis will be on the practical application of developmental principles. The course is designed as a foundation course of careers in educational, social, psychological, and medical fields. An optional field study unit may be offered to provide opportunities for observation and experience with various age groups.
