Class meetings on January 23, January 28, January 30 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:40 a.m. and May 20 are on the CRC campus (room to be announced). Students who miss the first class session will be dropped; the first four class sessions are mandatory as they prepare students tutor. Any student wishing to enroll in ENGED 320 after January 23, 2019 must contact the professor before showing up to class or at the tutoring location. Class size will be limited due to restrictions at the school where tutoring will take place. Starting Monday, February 4 through May 15 students will meet at the tutoring location: Barbara Comstock Elementary School, 7000 Cranleigh Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95823. Students must provide their own transportation to and from the elementary school. All students must be available every Monday and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:40 a.m. for lecture and lab between the dates of January 23 and May 15, 2019. Any absence from the tutoring location can result in the student being dropped immediately from the course; BCM teachers and students deserve tutors who are responsible and serious about tutoring. Finally, this is not a course for CRC students to learn English; it is expected that all students will be able to tutor English and are familiar with speaking, reading, and writing in English. The final exam for the course will be Monday, May 20, 2019 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on the CRC campus (room to be announced).
