Description: This course will help students acquire the information competency skills necessary to conduct academic or personal research. It provides a step-by-step guide to the research process that is applicable to term papers, course work and life-long learning.

Textbook
This course will be taught online using Desire2Learn (D2L), CRC's online classroom management system. Students enrolled in this course must have regular access to a computer with an Internet connection. There are no required prerequisites for this course, however, basic computer skills are a must. There will be an orientation for this course on Tuesday, 1/19/16 from 6-8pm in L-245. Students with questions may contact the instructor, Shelly Buchanan-Cello at buchans@losrios.edu.
