Description: This course will help students acquire the information competency skills necessary to conduct academic or personal research. It provides a step-by-step guide to the research process that is applicable to term papers, course work and life-long learning.

Online class. Online Orientation mandatory for this course. This class requires each enrolled student to complete the online orientation during the first week of class (August 20th - August 27th 2016). You must complete this mandatory online orientation to remain in the class. The online orientation is available in the eLearning area for the class and is labeled Required Orientation within your D2L course page Content area at http://elearning.losrios.edu. Students will be taught online using Desire2Learn (D2L), CRC's online classroom management system. Students enrolled in this course must have regular access to a computer with an Internet connection.
