Advisory: ENGWR 300 with a grade of "C" or better; OR ESLL 320 and ESLW 340 with a grade of "C" or better.

Description: This course covers oral composition and delivery. It focuses on the organization, use of supporting materials, methods of securing interest, presentation of information, and persuasive appeals necessary to be effective in oral communication situations. Audio/video recording equipment may be used as an aid to self-analysis and improvement.

Description: This course covers the dynamics of group communication and prepares individuals to function more effectively in groups. It focuses on communication in task and social groups. Topics include communication concepts and behaviors in problem-solving, decision-making, leadership, group roles, norms, and conformity.
