ARTH 302    Art: Stone Age Through the Middle Ages    3 Units

Description: This course is a study of the architecture, sculpture, and painting of the ancient Near East and Europe from the Stone Age through the Middle Ages. Description: This course covers 18th, 19th, 20th and 21st century art forms including painting, sculpture, and architecture in Europe and America. Styles discussed include Neoclassicism, Romanticism, Realism, Impressionism and Post-Impressionism, and the major movements of the 20th century. Post-Modern art is also discussed.
