Description: This course is an introduction to the language of the German-speaking people. It includes the fundamentals of German pronunciation and grammar, as well as the development of listening, reading and writing with emphasis on the communicative skills.

Description: This course, which is the third in a series of four German courses, continues to develop proficiency in speaking, listening, reading, and writing German. It reviews German grammar and offers readings of varied texts, which further explore study of historical and cultural background of German-speaking countries and afford opportunities to make cross-linguistic and cross-cultural comparisons.
